I developed this timesheet so that I could easily keep track of time that I spend on a project and also the materials. It would also help other artist, crafts people, milliners, prop makers, puppet makers, costume makers and designers to help keep a log of the hours and money they spend on a job.
Please feel free to download and use it too. Don’t forget to add in things like hours spent sourcing materials, and time spent delivering an item or postage costs.
Its free! If somebody else wants to use it too, then I would really appreciate it if you ask them to download it from here rather than emailing them your own download.

This would really help me with pricing. The shortcut method is 3x the material. While this is approximate for items made with yarn, it doesn’t work for items made with crochet thread. A table cloth material cost is about $60, but it takes 6 months to a year to make. Crocheted cristmas ornament only uses about $0.15 of material but are fidley to make and require assembly work, (glueing , stiffening). So the shortcut method isn’t realistic. Pricing too high, it doesn’t sell; pricing too low gives customer idea that it’s cheap quality. This timesheet will definitely be an asset for me as I try to keep good bookkeeping records. I’m fortunate, I love crocheting and bookkeeping. Alot of people hate paperwork, me I love it. Thank you for this handy tool. I can set this up on excel.
